Recovering Moms Helping Moms is a peer-to-peer, judgment-free support group where mothers come together to navigate the challenges and joys of motherhood. We believe everyone is recovering from something, and our focus is on healing the whole person—not just what caused the pain. Our meetings are grounded in the 12 spiritual principles of recovery, with practical application at the core. The goal is to live by these principles to become the best versions of ourselves. We strategically partner with local churches and organizations to provide the best support for mothers and their children. When mothers recover, children and families heal, breaking cycles for future generations. Together, we are stronger.
Recovering Moms Helping Moms exists because motherhood, while beautiful, can be incredibly challenging for any mother—but even more so for those dealing with grief, depression, substance abuse, sobriety, trauma, and more. This organization was created to provide a safe, judgment-free space where mothers can come together, support one another, and navigate the complexities of parenting while healing. We focus on holistic healing and the practical application of recovery principles, empowering mothers to build strength, resilience, and break cycles of struggle for future generations. Our mission is to create a community of support, understanding, and growth, because when mothers recover, families and communities thrive.
We meet twice a month on the first and third Thursday of each month. Currently, the meetings are held virtually via zoom, so that attending is easier for everyone. The link to join the meeting is easy to get. All that you have to do is email Angelica at ABryant@watersiderecovery.com to join the group.
Great question! We try to make this as easy as possible for everyone to join. The easiest way is to complete the form below. Angelica will be notified and reach out personally to assure that you have continued access to the virtual meeting link, or the schedule for the in-person meetings. If there are any issues, you can always call the care team at (866) 671-8620 and just ask to be connected to Angelica.
YES! Even more exciting – child care is provided! We partner with local churches and organizations to help us facilitate in-person meetings where your kiddos are welcome to come and be cared for while we care for ourselves! We are working diligently on securing everything to allow these meetings to be more frequent. Dates, locations and status of childcare is changing – updates are regularly provided to group members.
Licensed counselors are standing by and available any time, day or night. Don’t hesitate to call today.
